ABOUT MR COLOR ULTRA METALLIC
Mr. Color Ultra Metallic series adopts particles sanded with a special resin coating on metal powder.
Therefore, it is possible to achieve a shine that is more than normal metallic.
It is also more transparent than normal metallic, so it can be used for the effect of transparent parts or
to change the color of the base to change the appearance of the metallic.
APPLICATION INFORMATION
Thoroughly shake and stir prior to application as the fine metallic particles in the paint tend to settle easily.
THINNING RECOMMENDATIONS
Thinned using Mr Color Levelling Thinner, Mr Color Thinner or Mr Rapid Thinner, with a thinning ratio for airbrushing from 1:1 to 1:2 (Paint to Thinner ratio).
Mr Color Levelling Thinner has added retarder over the standard Mr Color Thinner, allowing for a smoother, enhanced finish.
Mr Color Rapid Thinner is designed to reduce drying time, particularly when airbrushing. This thinner also enhances metallic Mr Color paints by allowing them to quickly dry before the metallic pigments settle resulting in an improved metallic finish. However, it is not recommended for gloss colours as the reduced drying time may reduce the gloss effect.
